FTIR Manual Data Validation
If you own, operate, or are involved in stack/emission testing on natural gas compression sources where FTIR analyzers and methods are used, this webinar is for you!
As a follow up to our 4C HSE Conference Webinar Series presentation in November 2020, we will focus in on ASTM D6348 and the 8 Annexes within the method and what the EPA and state agencies are discussing regarding test report submittals. Our hope is to bring a better understanding of the method data quality objectives and to assist you in achieving your compliance goals!
We’d like to quickly tell you about one of the ways a FTIR Manual Data Validation can appear to one of your technicians.
Using your FTIR software utility, load a spectral file for manual analysis. Afterwards, select compounds of interest and manually scale for each target analyte in your test plan. Next, compare final analyte values of the manual analysis to ensure that they are within 20% of the values measured during field sampling.
